Blackbuck, Palitana and Diu Tour
The Velavadar Blackbuck National Park, Palitana and Diu Tour is a 3-night and 4-day tour that takes you on an exciting adventure to explore the wildlife and culture of Gujarat. On this tour, you will visit the famous Blackbuck National Park in Velavadar, where you can spot a variety of wild animals including blackbucks, hyenas, Indian wolves, and more. DAY1
Day 1 - Arrival at Bhavnagar and transfer to Velavadar Blackbuck National Park
Board a flight or train to reach Bhavnagar and directly transfer to Velavadar to visit the famous Blackbuck National Park. Check into a resort on arrival at Velavadar and retreat to comfort. After lunch, head out of the resort for an exciting jeep safari at the Blackbuck National Park. Along with spotting Blackbucks, the national park also facilitates the sightings of Bengal Fox, Lesser Florican, Hyena, Jungle Cat, Blue Bull, Indian Wolf and a few more. Return from the safari and spend some spare moments in the luxury of the resort.
DAY2
Day 2 - Morning Safari and transfer to Diu via Palitana
Wake up early to embark on an early morning safari to Blackbuck National Park. engage in spotting blackbucks and a wide variety of avifauna species in the early hours of the morning. Return to the resort and check out after having breakfast. Begin the journey towards Diu, halting at Palitana, on the way. The distance from Velavadar to Palitana is about 92 km and the time required to travel is a little more than 2 hours. Visit the Shatrunjaya Hill Temples dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras. Resume the journey towards Diu, approx 178 km from Palitana, which will take a little longer than 4 hours. On reaching Diu check into a hotel and grab proper rest overnight.
DAY3
Day 3 - Sightseeing at Diu
Relishing a delicious breakfast at the hotel head out for the day’s excursion at Diu. The tourist spots to be covered are Diu Fort, St. Paul’s Church, Panikotha Fort, Naida Caves and Diu Zampa Gate. Spend the evening watching a lovely sunset at Nagao Beach and return to the hotel.
DAY4
Day 4 - Departure from Diu
After breakfast check out from the hotel at Diu and head towards Diu Airport for departure. If returning by train, then drive to Veraval Railway Station from the hotel, located at an approximate distance of 88 km.
