DAY1
Day 1 - Arrival at Somnath
Arrive at Veraval Junction and reach the pre-booked hotel at Somnath. Alternatively, if arriving flight, then reach Keshod Airport and drive to Somnath, covering a distance of about 62 km. After the completion of the checking-in formalities, relax for some time and visit the Shree Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple and then spend some serene hours at Somnath Beach.
DAY2
Day 2 - Transfer to Sasan Gir and Afternoon Safari
After an early breakfast, start the journey towards Sasan Gir, the heavenly abode of Asiatic Lions. The distance to be covered is about 69 km and the duration of the drive will be about 2&½ hours. Reaching Gir, the first thing to do is to check into a resort near an entry gate to Gir National Park. After getting fresh and having lunch head out for a thrilling jeep safari to Gir National Park in the after slot. After a couple of hours’ safari, return to the resort and retreat to relaxation embracing the comforts of the accommodation.
DAY3
Day 3 - Morning Safari at Gir and Transfer to Velavadar Blackbuck National Park
Wake up to an early morning alarm and get ready for a morning jeep safari at Gir. The morning jeep safari will provide you with a mesmerizing view of the forest shrouded with the morning quietude. On returning from the safari savour a delicious breakfast at the resort and begin the drive to reach Velavadar. The distance is about 196 km and the time required to reach the destination is approximately 5 hours. Check into a resort and the rest of the day is free to wave off the exhaustion.
DAY4
Day 4 - Morning Safari at Velavadar and transfer to Bhavnagar for Departure
Embark on a morning safari at Velavadar for mesmerising sightings of blackbuck and other fauna species. Morning safari is also best for watching a wide variety of birds. After returning from the safari, have breakfast and check out from the resort and head towards Bhavnagar. Depart back home from Bhavnagar railway Station or Bhavnagar Airport.
